Meet Dr. Shane Schvaneveldt

Being an orthodontist means improving lives one person at a time. As I straighten a patient’s teeth, it improves their bite and oral health, and decreases the likelihood of dental disease and jaw issues in the future. Of course, most people think of smiles when they think of orthodontic treatment, and that is a big part of what I do: An amazing smile grows a person’s self-esteem and improves their confidence, and I’m part of making those smiles happen!

Every day, I see people transform. As patients see the change in their appearance, they feel better about themselves and start showing greater confidence. The day a person finishes, and sees all they’ve accomplished, they can’t stop smiling and we’re smiling with them! I spend my days helping people make a lasting, positive change in their lives; I can’t imagine anything more fulfilling!

Orthodontics is constantly changing. As new technologies are developed, along with advances in materials and techniques, it’s essential that I stay current on these changes. Each year I attend conferences, lectures, and seminars, to take a variety of continuing orthodontic education courses. This ensures each patient receives the best care to achieve their new smile!
